Encounter Certified As Microsoft Audio Integration Partner

This month Encounter Collaborative passed Microsoft's Live Meeting audio integration tests for reliability and scalability. This means that our Live Meeting customers can now access Encounter's audio conferencing services directly from Live Meeting. Presenters and attendees can instantly start an audio conference call by using a simple interface in the Live Meeting console. The capability is a boon for impromptu web meetings and underscores how audio and web conferencing have evolved into one seamless collaboration tool.

The evolution of collaborative technologies like Live Meeting, will be a topic at this year's Collaborative Communications Summit, running from October 24-25 in San Francisco. The conference will focus on real-time, presence-aware collaboration tools and services: how they're changing business models, future trends, and how to integrate and leverage them to maximize business results.

Encounter's Seminar Series starts again in September with guest speaker Dr. Wayne Thomas presenting How CEOs Can Help Their Sales Force Succeed. As CEO of Thomas and Company, Inc., Dr. Thomas helps clients in the information and communications technology industry make mid-course corrections and develop sustainable sales strategies. We look forward to having you there.

This month Encounter was certified as a Microsoft Audio Integration Partner, which means Encounter's audio conferencing services are now integrated into the Live Meeting web conferencing console. Using integrated audio, Encounter's Live Meeting customers can simply and easily start a conference call directly from Live Meeting.

Integrated audio allows presenters to set up and control audio conferences without pre-scheduling the conference call, providing an entirely new level of convenience. Two methods allow attendees entrance into conferences, Call Someone and Call Me. Using the Call Someone function, presenters specify a phone number to have the service dial out to include participants in the audio conference.

The Call Me function allows attendees to simply enter their phone number and have the system call and automatically bring them into the conference.

With integrated audio capabilities, presenters can see at a glance who is attending both the web and the audio portion of their meeting. They have the ability to mute and unmute participants in the audio conference, record calls, and disconnect individual or multiple callers at anytime.

Microsoft requires that their audio partners pass an incredibly rigorous suite of tests to ensure the very highest standards for system integrity, reliability and redundancy as well as performance and scalability. Based on our experience in audio conferencing, Encounter was able to build a solution that exceeded Microsoft's rigorous requirements.

arrowHow CEOs Can Help Their Sales Force Succeed

After five years of cost cutting and minding the bottom line, growing revenue now tops the priority list for many CEOs. Yet, for some CEOs and department heads, the sales process is a dark continent. This seminar will provide ideas, contrarian trends and caveats for CEOs to help their sales organizations meet revenue objectives.

There are some actions that only you as CEO can do to help — and there are some things that as CEO you should not do, or stop doing, that will be just as helpful. Sales managers will want to sit in on this webinar as highly partisan observers.

In this webinar you will discover:

  • 8 places to look for problems before firing your sales executive
  • The great revenue lesson of 100 A.D.
  • How well-intentioned CEOs can actually hinder revenue production
  • The pitfalls of CEOs and rock stars
  • And much more!
