Barry Carbaugh is the founder of Barry Group, a full service strategic communications agency. Barry Group has expertise in two areas of marketing: competitive differentiation and attitude, and perception change initiatives. Bary is a 31 year veteran of the advertising and marketing industry. He has unique insights into how businesses can deal with a hyper-changing business environment.
Prior to starting Barry Group in 1985, his career included positions in marketing management and sales promotion in manufacturing as well as sales, sales management and general management positions in radio media.
Barry has always emphasized the need for strong brands and was instrumental in development of Barry Group's breakthrough process for brand development titled InSight Brand Development. This approach helps organizations identify the unique benefits and feelings they deliver to their customers and then communicates this identity in a way that cuts through today's communication overload.
Carbaugh works with clients to establish proactive, constantly evolving strategic marketing and communications plans that reliably deliver success in an ever more challenging environment.
